Last two weeks I have watched two dramas which links to father’s day. The first telemovie titled ‘Sayang Abah’ http://jiwang.net/2011/telemovie-sayaaaang-abah-2011/ was aired on Astro prima and the second drama titled ‘Tangan Bapa’ was aired in TV2. Both dramas were unique with their own storylines. I don’t have to explain about the drama but I can guarantee that they are good. Of course when we talk about father there should have son, daughter or both in the story. What’s about? There’s love, courage, sacrifice, lesson, hurts, tears and so on. Between the two story, I admit that the ‘Sayang Abah’ has made my tears draining. Meanwhile the ‘Tangan Bapa’ have their valueable lesson which have some connections with my life.
It’s about me and my ayahanda(father), Syed Hashim b. Syed Abu Bakar. I’m so proud to have him as my ayahanda. Yet, I’m so grateful he still alive, healthy and live happily with my bonda. Thank you Allah for the priceless gift. Ayahanda is a former post-man. Now, he worked as a headmaster at S.R.A.R Al-Rahmaniah at my residential areas. My ayahanda is quite well known by people around the place he live and not too much if I said most people respect him as a person called ustaz/ imam surau. However, my ayahanda always stay humble and tried his best helping people who need his help. At the school, most of his students scared of him because he is quite firm but among others (relatives, friends, neighbours), they think that my ayahanda is a humourous and slightly hot-tempered. Honestly, my ayahanda is my bestfriend ever in the world. He always listen to my story/problem also I’m the most pampered with him haha..xD
My ayahanda is a strict person towards his children. When I was a kid, I always ask myself “Why ayahanda so ‘garang’?”; “Why he always say ‘tak boleh’ to do or to have something?” ; “Why he strictly forcing us to ‘sembahyang’, ‘baca Al-Quran’(in front of him every evening before went out to play), and ‘hafal surah-surah Muqaddam’”. Actually there’s more but these are several of my top questions. After I entered to UiTM, I realized I found all the answers for all my questions. When I had an Industrial training at Jabatan Mineral & Geosains (JMG), my supervisor told me that he felt so worried about kids nowadays. Most of them ‘tak berapa menjadi’ which means social problem(the major ones). He said to me “kamu bertuah sebab dah jadi orang”. On that time I realized my parent did it. When I was a kid, I made all the good deed because of my ayahanda but as time passes it changed. I always keep in my mind that I did everything because of Allah. Alhamdulillah everything went well but still, I always seek for the best and keep improving myself to be a better person.InsyaAllah..
That’s how ‘Tangan Ayahanda’ did to me and my siblings. He trained us very strict but he never forgets to give his love and courage. He give us more than what we need in this world. Now, we all have grown up. It’s up to us how are we going to face the real challenge in life. Ayahanda can’t promise wealth, happiness and long-live life but as long as we follow his advice and all the knowledge(world & hereafter) he gave to us it will provide us a better life. InsyaAllah.. Ayahanda always reminds me this each time before we ends our phone conversation, “sembahyang jangan tinggal!!”. xD
Ayahanda..may Allah bless you always. Stay healthy & live happiness in this world and hereafter. May all ayahanda’s best wishes comes true..I love you Ayahanda..=)
